He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly,
and to love kindness and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

Dear Friend

My life’s journey is walking with God as long as I live. I don’t see recovering from rejection, heartache, grieving, retrenchments, a stroke or cancer as a journey with that trauma. There are no shortcuts in life. It is just part of life events. When you think you are taking the easiest route, you might be adding painful detours to your journey. No, the trauma that happens are small events because walking with God is the greatest experience any of us could ever have.

Psalms 23:1-4 - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

My prayer. Heavenly Father, thank You that there are no limits to the wholeness You bring. Thank You for saving and healing me. Help me to be a beacon of hope and a testimony of Your goodness to all the people in my life. You are my Guide in this life. Amen.

Walk with God.
