Dear Friend
When the storms rage in our lives we are quick to ask God to calm the storm. We want normality and peace in our lives. Do you believe this account of how Jesus calmed the wind and the raging waves? If so, think it through. Everything in your life changes when God steps into your storms. You will change. How you look at life will change, and you will have to leave some burdensome things behind. God calms storms and winds when we pray. Are you willing to pay the price for the change you want? Luke 8:24b - “Jesus awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased, and there was a calm.” My prayer. Heavenly Father, thank You for calming the winds and raging waves when my life becomes stormy and threatening. You know what is good and right in my life. Please show me through the Holy Spirit what needs to change in me. I want to praise and serve You with all my heart. Remind me of all the wisdom You have taught me so that I can handle my circumstances. Amen. Allow God to calm your storms.
