Dear Friend
Do you expect God to speak to You? Do you kneel and pray? God is the same today as on that day when He answered Peter’s prayer. Prayer is about your relationship and conversations with God. He gives you grace, mercy and blessing. Grace is like when you get good stuff from God even though you didn’t earn it. Mercy, on the other hand, is when He cuts you some slack and doesn’t give you the punishment you deserve. Blessings? Well, that’s when God just showers you with all sorts of good things. Acts 9:40: “But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, ‘Tabitha, arise.’ And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.” My prayer. Lord, please guide me and lead me today. Help me to make wise decisions, and to trust in your plan for my life. You are the ultimate Healer, and I trust in Your power to restore health. Let Your grace surround and bring comfort and healing to each Friend’s body, mind, and spirit. In Jesus' name, I pray. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Amen. One thing to remember: God’s goodness is there all the time, no matter what.
